The Shore Medical Center Auxiliary invites the community to its Annual Thrift Shop Fashion Show & Brunch on Tuesday, May 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This year’s event will be held at a new location, the historic Flanders Hotel in Ocean City.
The Shore Medical Center Auxiliary is the hospital’s oldest fundraising arm, with a long-standing tradition of community support dating back generations. Its signature Fashion Show has deep roots in local history, with newspaper archives documenting Auxiliary fashion shows as far back as 1957 - a reflection of decades of creativity, volunteerism, and commitment to Shore Medical Center’s mission.
Guests will enjoy a lively spring celebration featuring brunch, raffle baskets, boutique-style shopping, and a one-of-a-kind fashion show highlighting standout pieces from the Shore Medical Center thrift shops. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. for shopping, followed by brunch and the fashion show at 11, with additional time to browse and shop until 2pm.
Tickets are $55 per person, which includes brunch, free parking and raffle opportunities. Seating is first come, first served. Reserved seating is available for groups who purchase a full table of 10 in advance.
This beloved Auxiliary tradition not only highlights the quality and charm of the thrift shops’ unique finds, but also raises critical funds in support of Shore Medical Center and its mission to provide the community with high-quality, compassionate care close to home.
