Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Emergency Department Clinical Supervisor Emily Humphreys, RN, BSN as its August Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients. The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable members of the community to say thank you to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center.
Humphreys has worked at Shore her entire nursing career, joining the team in 1986. In 2004, she was promoted to her current role as clinical supervisor.
Annmarie Guerrieri, RN, BSN, nurse manager of the emergency department, says Humphreys is a valuable member of the management team and a caring and compassionate nurse.
“Emily goes above and beyond to ensure that patients are receiving safe, quality care,” said Guerrieri. “As a valuable member of the management team, she is always available to assist the staff and physicians, and maintains effective relationships with all departments in the hospital.”
Humphreys lives in Lower Bank, NJ, with two of her three children and parents. Her oldest daughter followed in her footsteps and is also a registered nurse.
The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony.
