Registered Nurse Robert Yu Named Shore Medical Center’s December 2012 Guardian Angel of the Month

December 04, 2012

Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Registered Nurse Robert Yu as its December Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients.

The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable patients to say thank you to a special caregiver through a donation to Shore Medical Center.

Yu, of Mays Landing, NJ, joined Shore in 2002 and works on 4th Hayes. Stacy Ross, RN-BC, BSN, manager of Advanced Spine and Orthopedic Institute-W (ASOI-W) and ASOI-H, said Yu is passionate about his work and takes his role as a patient advocate and team player seriously.

“Robert is an exceptional, well-respected member of the ASOI team,” said Ross. “He always provides compassionate care and maintains a professional attitude at all times. He also serves as a precept for new members of the unit and serves as a mentor to many co-workers.”

The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony. If you, a family member or friend would like to honor a Shore Medical Center Guardian Angel, please contact the Shore Medical Center Foundation at 609-653-3800.
